Having been open for seven years, Wellington Live grew curious as to what kind of wizardry was involved in maintaining such a successful outer- suburb business.
 

 
After moving to New Zealand from Bangkok in 2011, Manee noticed the lack of authentic Thai massage in the area, specifically therapy that involved the incorporation of stretching. Having bought the establishment in 2016 she made a point of employing qualified and professional therapists to which have all graduated from esteemed Thai therapy colleges.
 
“I didn’t know anything about starting a business when I opened the shop, but I knew I could provide people with an affordable and welcoming environment, and of course a relaxing massage,” she told Wellington Live in an exclusive interview.
 
Adding, “we care about people, and we all work really hard to ensure a return customer.”
 
With staff experience ranging from five to ten years minimum, Wellington Live was quite excited to put the skills of her therapists to the test.
 

 
As a seasoned massage enthusiast, I believe the quality and authenticity of a Thai massage reveals itself within the first ten seconds of stepping through the door. Our journey began with a refreshing glass of lemon-infused water, a symbol synonymous with Thai hospitality and warmth. Lush native Philodendron plants adorned the space, and smiles greeted us from every corner of the establishment.
