Welcome to Wellington’s newest boutique retreat. Two Peas In A Pod has been purpose-built for you to enjoy all Wellington has to offer, then retreat back to your own private sanctuary amongst New Zealand’s stunning native flora and fauna.

We have two luxurious, self-contained, studio Pods, set amongst New Zealand’s beautiful native bush. Each pod is completely private, with your own outdoor hot-tub where you can soak, sip on bubbles, and spot the Tui, Kaka and Kereru. Ideal for couples looking for a luxury retreat or equally perfect to base yourself from to attend one of the many Wellington events.

New Zealand designed and built to a high standard, engineered (and helicoptered in) to integrate into the natural environment.

The Tui Pod is a contemporary studio style with quality furnishings throughout, featuring a NZ hand-made cedar outdoor Tub. Our Pods are extremely warm, snug, and quiet. The pods are fully equipped to allow you to rustle up a gourmet meal or equally order in from one of the surrounding eateries.

The Tui Pod accommodates two guests on a luxury queen-size bed, with a leather-appointed sitting/relaxing area, ensuite, kitchen, and dining for two inside or out. Expansive sliding glass doors allow for bird watching all year round.

The Pod has amazing walks right from your door into the native forest and beyond (eateries, pubs, etc).

The property is located a short 6 min walk from the local train station, with a 12 min train ride to Wellington.

The Tui Pod is fully self-contained, including; an ensuite, kitchen, all linen, towels, tea, coffee, and maybe a chocolate or two!

Location

Khandallah is one of Wellington’s most scenic areas. We are located on the edge of Wellington’s largest green belt and the pods are situated at the base of Mt KauKau, which is a large reserve with beautiful walks and spectacular views across Wellington city and harbor. It is a 15 min walk into the village which has several excellent eateries, pubs, supermarket, pharmacy and doctors. We are connected to Wellington City by a direct 12 min train ride, with the station being 6 mins walk from the pods
