The Theft
Last night, something naughty happened in Wellington, New Zealand. A windsurfer, sitting proudly on top of the bright WL Smart Car, was stolen. This little car, painted black and orange with the “WL” logo and the words “OUT N’ ABOUT,” zooms around the city, sharing Wellington’s sunny vibes and fun moments. But now, our team is sad, frustrated, and ready to act.
The WL Smart Car is small, zippy, and covered in our branding. On top, there was a big white windsurfer, tied with colourful straps. It looked brilliant under the sunny sky, parked near grey warehouses with big doors. But sometime in the night, someone sneaked up and took it. Poof! It’s gone.
This morning, our WL team found our windsurfer missing. “We can’t believe it,” one member said, shaking their head. “That windsurfer was key to showing off Wellington’s fun and sunny vibes. Now it’s gone, and we’re really upset.”
The Baby Shark Plan
But we’re not just sitting around. We’ve got a cheeky plan to get it back. “Please give our windsurfer back,” we’re begging the thief or anyone who knows where it is. “If you don’t, we’ll drive our Smart Car around Wellington, playing ‘Baby Shark’ music non-stop until you return it!”
Yes, “Baby Shark”—the catchy, silly song kids love and adults can’t escape. Our team plans to blast it loudly from the car as we drive through streets, parks, and beaches. Imagine the little black-and-orange WL Smart Car, with a new rainbow-coloured shark fin on top (we’re making it today after a bank trip), rolling by while playing “Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo!” It might make people laugh, but it could also annoy everyone.
We’re serious. “We love Wellington and our windsurfer,” we said. “It’s not just a board—it’s part of our story, especially during Rainbow Week, when we celebrate diversity and colour in our city. If we must play ‘Baby Shark’ all day, we will!” Rainbow Week is a special time in Wellington, with bright parades and events showing off our city’s love for inclusivity and vibrancy—perfect for our rainbow shark fin idea.
How You Can Help
Who took the windsurfer? No one knows yet. It happened late last night near the warehouses. There were no witnesses, but we hope someone saw something. “Maybe it was a prank,” we said, “or someone wanted a windsurfer. But it’s ours, and we want it back!”
We’re asking everyone—locals, tourists, and people worldwide—to help. “If you know anything, tell us,” we pleaded. “Contact us at info@wellington.live or call 027 552 6335. We’ll be so grateful and stop the ‘Baby Shark’ plan if you help.”
But if no one speaks up, the plan is on. We’re making a big, rainbow-coloured shark fin—1.2 metres tall, painted in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. It’ll sit on the Smart Car where the windsurfer was, looking bright and bold. It’s a warning: “Return our windsurfer, or hear ‘Baby Shark’ everywhere!”
We’re also making a short 15-second video for our platforms. It’ll show the WL Smart Car driving, with the rainbow shark fin on top, playing “Baby Shark” loudly. Big, bold text at the bottom will say: “Windsurfer Stolen from WL Smart Car Last Night. Please Return It, or We’ll Drive Around Playing ‘Baby Shark’ Until It’s Back.” It’s fun, cheeky, and sure to grab attention—perfect for our WL audience.
Our Big Moment
We’re frustrated but excited. “This could be our chance to go big,” we said. “We want this story to spread far and wide through our WL platforms—on our videos, everywhere! If people hear about our stolen windsurfer and ‘Baby Shark’ plan, someone might spot it and help.”
Why a windsurfer? Wellington loves windsurfing. With windy beaches and sunny days, it’s perfect for riding waves with a board and sail. The windsurfer on our car showed that spirit. Now, it’s gone, and we feel heartbroken.
We wonder what the thief might do. “Maybe they’ll sell it or use it on the beach,” we said. “But it has our stickers. People will know it’s ours. Please bring it back—you don’t want ‘Baby Shark’ all day!”
The police know about the theft, and we’re checking security cameras. But we’re not waiting—we’re acting. After the bank today, one member is making the real rainbow shark fin. “I’m so frustrated,” they said, “but determined. We’ll get our windsurfer back, even if it means ‘Baby Shark’ blaring.”
If the plan works, the thief might return it or someone might spot it. “Maybe they’ll feel bad and bring it back,” we said. “Or our WL audience will share our story and help us find it.”
If it doesn’t work? “We might drive and play ‘Baby Shark’ for days,” we said, with a small laugh. “We don’t want to annoy everyone, but we really want our windsurfer back. It’s worth it.”
WL isn’t just about a car or windsurfer. It’s about fun, community, and showing off our city, especially during Rainbow Week. This theft upset us, but it’s also a chance to be creative and bold. “We’ll make this story huge,” we said. “We want the world to know about Wellington and our WL Smart Car through our platforms. And we want our windsurfer back!”
So, if you’re in Wellington or anywhere, watch for a white windsurfer with WL stickers. If you see it, contact us at info@wellington.live or 027 552 6335. And if you hear “Baby Shark” from a small black-and-orange car with a rainbow shark fin, you’ll know we’re on a mission. Please help—before the whole city sings “Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo!”
