Brooke grew up in Manurewa, spent years in the U.S., and later moved to Wellington to study at Victoria University. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce and went on to complete a Master’s in Finance at Massey University.

Before Sharesies, she worked at AJ Park, Kiwibank, and Xero, where she led global product marketing. In 2017, she co-founded Sharesies alongside Leighton Roberts and others. Brooke and Leighton are now not just business partners but life partners, raising a family in the heart of Wellington.
