Two hours of congestion after lanes closed on Transmission Gully

There were delays this morning for traffic heading into Wellington on Transmission Gully.

NZTA first reported the delays at 6.50am. It blamed them on roadworks, which caused southbound traffic to be restricted to one lane before the SH58 interchange.

Congestion for southbound traffic continued for two hours.
